How the START Mortgage text messaging program works: what we send, who receives it, and how to stop. Effective September 2, 2026.
START Mortgage LLC (NMLS #2821608), a licensed branch of Lend Labs LLC (NMLS #2718409), sends text messages to consumers who have asked to receive them. Messages relate to your loan inquiry or loan application with START Mortgage and include:
Separately, consumers who opt in to promotional messages also receive rate alerts and refinance opportunity notifications from START Mortgage. Promotional messages require their own consent — you can receive loan updates without agreeing to promotional texts.
We send text messages only to consumers who provided their own mobile number to START Mortgage and opted in to receive them — through a form on this website or jexayrarivera.com, within a loan application, or in person with a START Mortgage loan originator. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving a loan, a quote, or any service.
Message frequency varies.
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed by your mobile carrier.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help. After you reply STOP, we send one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages are sent. Spanish-language replies PARE and ALTO are honored the same as STOP.
